Students who participate will learn how to play Baseball or Softball. They will learn the basics of the game, including skills such as how to throw and catch. They can then learn how to swing a bat and have a go at trying to hit the ball. Learning the fundamentals while having fun and enjoying a game and learning the basic rules.

No pressure, just come and join in and if you feel like joining a team we will be organizing one day tournaments for beginners and Mini baseball tournaments.

This can especially benefit any students studying to become P.E. teachers as they can learn way to teach different skill in easy step by step methodology.

Hitting a baseball is one of the hardest skills in any sport as you have a round bat and a round ball with a contact are the size of two euro cent. Then you have the human element of the pitcher throwing the ball at different speeds, curving and dropping depending on his or her ability so it can be quite a challenge. Then again it can be played at any level and on different size playing fields. Softball is similar to Baseball but the ball is a bit bigger making it easier to hit although the ball is thrown from a closer distance than baseball.

Beginners are always welcome and special care is always taken for all ages to maintain safety at all times.

So if you’re up for a challenge Baseball and Softball might be the right sport for you but unless you try you will never know!!!
